Let’s face it. The reputation makers – from ‘social media experts’ to ‘communicators’ , PR folk and ‘reputation managers’, that ‘spin doctor’ tag is omnipresent and our collective reputation is less than pristine – online and off.

So for one night only, we’ll put away the bolly and look at some of the campaigns to help raise the game , and have a collective think about what can be done in future to ensure that communicators have some clear guidelines and standards to which to aspire, and discuss best practise.

Format:

Short talks about their own campaigns:

Darika Ahrens, Grapevine Consulting, on #fixpr

Richard Ellis, PRCA (Public Relations Consultants Association)

Molly Flatt, 1000 Heads, offering the online perspective

Adam Parker, Realwire, on An Inconvenient PR Truth

Tim Phillips, freelance journalist, on Talk Normal

Breakout sessions

Break out groups to discuss and share thoughts/ideas

Major thanks to Tempero, the online moderators,  for allowing us to use their offices for this event – and providing the beer!
