Biography: Tjalko Riemens, UK General Manager (Interim)
Tjalko Riemens is a seasoned sales professional with more than a decade of ICT experience. He is currently responsible for looking after SIG’s portfolio of customers in the financial services field including ABN AMRO, Nationale Nederlanden and ASR, and is acting as interim manager for SIG’s UK business.
He joined SIG in 2011 from Gartner, Inc. (NYSE: IT), the world’s leading information technology research and advisory company.
He was previously with enterprise intelligence company Kadenza, with the Business Solutions team at IBM working with ISVs, and was instrumental in starting SCC, an IBM focussed startup.
Tjalko holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commercial Economics from the Hogeschool van Utrecht, and has recently become a parent for the third time. In his spare time his family with three boys and his wife come first. When (and if) there is any time left, he enjoys spending time on the golfcourse.
