Project Risk Estimation

A service from SIG: the Software Improvement Group

Insight into software development project risks before they start

What is it?

A Project Risk Estimation provides insight into how the quality of a project plan can be assessed, whether a project plan is realistic and what can be done to increase a project’s chances of success.

Why is it needed?

Good preparation in the form of a project plan can increase the likelihood of a successful project.

When project risks are identified, they can be accepted based on their impact on success, or risk mitigation measures put in place, increasing the likelihood of the project’s success.
