Joss Ings-Chambers, Country Manager, UK
Joss Ings Chambers joined SIG as Country Manager, UK, in 2012, from security and cloud integration specialists, Okta8, with whom he retains strong links as a director of the company. At Okta8 he has been responsible for a number of major partnerships with credit card issuing corporations by providing key security services to their merchants.
He previously held the post of Sales Director, at Grove IS, a Google Premier Enterprise reseller which he co-founded in 2004. Grove IS was named a Deloitte Fast 50 UK and Fast 500 EU company and serves over 2,000 customers worldwide. Prior to this he was VP for sales at IC Group, an IT distribution company focused on Europe and spent 3 years with specialist bandwidth trading firm, Band-X, where he left as the Sales Manager UK. His first commercial role was with Sentinel Business Services Group where he worked with the Board to develop a telecoms offering for their customers.
Joss was educated at Harrow and at Landsdowne College, London and served as a Captain in the British Army where postings included Bosnia and Northern Ireland. He starred in Kinvara Balfour’s farce, ‘Dazed and Abused’, when it was brought to the UK in 2005 to raise money for those affected by the tsunami in Sri Lanka.
