Social Media Measurement Challenge
Claire Thompson, freelance PR consultant, Waves PR
Just for fun, and to spice things up, the following challenge is being issued to suppliers attending the London Social Media week event on Social Media Measurement. But it’s open to everyone:
Your challenge, should you choose to accept it is to set up your social media measurement tool to its maximum capability to monitor and measure the traffic and comments around London Social Media Week.
For suppliers attending the event, this will help people attending to see at a glance what kinds of things you are measuring and the results you can see.
Different people will be looking for different things – some will be looking to see holes in their programmes, others will be seeking budget justification for the board, so have no fear of the comparisons: stand by your software and show us what you can do.
Please continue to monitor until the morning of Monday Feb 8. You are asked to present results by midday on Tuesday February 9, 2010 to measurement [@] wavespr.com. THIS DEADLINE WILL NOT BE EXTENDED.
Results will be shared via the Social Media Week and Chinwag blogs. And elsewhere, of course.
Companies not able to attend can join in as well. Even agencies. There’s no obligation to participate. Or even any real prize beyond a bottle of wine. It’s just a great chance to show off!
