Rounding a Tuttle Square
Claire Thompson, Waves PR
This morning, I shall be at Tuttle in it’s new temporary venue. I have incentives to go. Firstly, I’m dying to see how Tuttle and crochet fit together. (Long story – Tuttle founder Lloyd Davis is a patient man!)
Secondly, and perhaps more relevant to this blog, I am to collect a bottle of Freixenet from the Unidentified Man at Tuttle, as he didn’t get his project up and running on time. BUT the point of my bet with him was to spur him to action and make an idea come to life. The timing was out, but it propelled the idea.
So here we go. He – Deji Yakubu- has put the idea in story form for the world to take, share and do what it will with the idea: http://homepage.mac.com/deji/ideas/wifiblast.html. It’s a very simple way to highlight useful things available to download to phones/PCs via wifi.
Deji’s not planning to monetise it. He’s just shared it.
So I guess what it really needs now is for someone to take it and make it visual. To run with it. (No, I’m not PR-ing it as it doesn’t yet have the bits I’d need to make that work, but I am happy to share it!)
Generally I don’t solicit comments on this blog – if a post is a good one, it will happen. (You don’t need to register to comment, and there’s a spamcatcher that seems to be working very well.) But this time I’d like to ask that anyone reading this and taking a look at his idea says what they think, for better or for worse. It may just be about where it could go. How it could be used. Or a link back to somewhere you’ve adopted it. It would be a small return for him on sharing an idea.

Can you tell me who did your layout? I’ve been looking for one kind of like yours. Thank you.
