Tweetcamp 2009
Claire Thompson, Waves PR, June 29
(@claireatwaves)
This Saturday I attended my first Tweetcamp, an unconference of brave ambition, which worked brilliantly. I learnt lessons, have a load of really actionable ideas and am blown away at the creativity and sheer technical brilliance of so many of the people there.
My phlog on lessons learned are here for the listening (using ipadio, not AudioBoo!) Some of it’s general, some of it relates to PR in the new world. Start the conversation by all means!
My Blackberry’s unhappy and won’t relinquish some of the photos, and WordPress doesn’t seem to like those that I have prised out , but you can always catch a few on my Tumble until I’ve managed to sort it out.
Related stuff to give you a flavour (feel free to post more links to write ups on Tweetcamp within reason – they’re moderated!):
Video (don’t watch if you’ve been drinking – will make you giddy!)

Using the hashtag #tweetcamp on Twitter will give you an idea of some of the days tweets, but in general we all tweeted with enthusiam, but only the dedicated kept up the pace – there were conversations to be had, food to eat, drinks to drink – thanks to the event’s sponsors:
